Technical Estimator

- Identifie innovative materials and components to create advanced equipment;
- Working closely with our buyer to find the best suppliers while meeting our standards of quality and efficiency;
- Prepare technical submissions for our clients, quickly and professionally;
- Perform preliminary engineering calculations to design and select certain mechanical components;
- Process critical mechanical component price requests with the collaboration of the procurement department;
- Ensure that the estimate is consistent with calculations, prices received and internal history of similar projects;
- Follow-up on bids and price requests, maintaining a smooth and proactive communication with our clients and partners;
- Participate in the continuous improvement of our processes, always on the lookout for new technologies and methods.
Requirements
- D.E.C. in Mechanical Design or Baccalaureate in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or designing mechanical equipment;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project estimation;
- Attention to detail;
- Excellent spoken and written French;
- Good command of English (20% communication in English with English-speaking partners);
- Good knowledge of Autocad;
- Analytical and highly autonomous.
